JIC Magic SF-1 Coil Overs

The SF-1 coil overs feature adjustable ride height and a fixed rate damper for those that wish to lower their ride, but don't feel the need to adjust dampers.
An immediate improvement in chassis performance, braking and body roll is noticeable. At 12kg. up front and 8kg. in the rear, these coil overs are over four times stiffer than factory suspension, and due to the integrated design, they weigh over 20lbs. less!
Bear in mind that JIC coil overs are not for everyone, especially those who value ride quality. The spring rebound kicks enough at speed to make the average person car-sick in minutes.
MLS Twin-Frame Shock Tower Brace The MLS twin-frame shock tower brace provides uncompromised rigidity, holding the Legend's shock towers in place, and enabling the suspension to work better. An immediate lack of body lean is noticed after install as the car maintains balance through hard corners, refusing to dip as it would. Further, the steering wheel holds straight when driving over speed bumps.
Historically, this bar saw production in Japan before being imported into the United States. Slight modification was required to fit both coupes and sedans alike.
Addco Front Sway BarLotus came to Addco for the Elan project which produced one of the best handling cars in the world. Naturally, we solicited Addco to manufacture the finest sway bars ever created for a Legend. Although these bars took a while to reach fruition, the end result was nothing short of spectacular: a Legend that rides on rails.
Keep in mind that the Addco swaybars are stiff enough to crush factory end links, ball joints and bushings. If your parts are original, please be safe and replace them before bigger problems arise.
Addco Rear Sway Bar
Addco's rear sway bar is 7/8" solid metal compared to the thinner, hollow factory bar, and includes new bushings to match the new diameters. If handling is your aim, then buy this bar first, or at the same time as the front sway.
Together, Addco's sway bars affect the Legend's handling more dramatically than any other suspension modification listed besides the JIC coil-overs. The ride quality diminishes greatly with both bars installed; thus, if you're hoping to maintain some level of luxury, then only install the rear bar. These bars come highly recommended.
Rear Tie BarsTwo tie bars were custom manufactured, a longer one out of mild steel and a shorter one of mild steel and aluminum, to help plant the Legend's rear firmly on the ground. Unlike most automobiles, the Legend's underbelly is tucked underneath the body, and the tiebars are not visible from behind.
These bars help plant the Legend's rear end, making sharp turns more predictable, and complimenting the aforementioned rear sway bar. Together, the Legend stays very flat and controlled through the twisties. Disclaimer: depending on your existing suspension setup, these bars can create over-steer.
SPC Front Camber KitChoices in a camber kit not only affect adjustability, but ride quality as well. SPC produces the most sturdy, solid ball joint kit for the Acura Legend. Ball joint kits, by their soft rubber construction, provide a smoother ride than arm kits.
Ingalls' kit (pictured far right and far right) is formed of two metal pieces pressed together, and has a tendency to dangerously snap in half. Additionally, Ingalls' kit adds a good two inches to the upper arm height, significantly reducing the travel--bad news for an extreme drop. Regardless, from a safety point of view, you should never buy the Ingalls kit.
